Surah Al-Mujadila 58:17 — translation and meaning
المجادلة · Verse 17 / 22 · Page 544
ۚ ۖ لَّن تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا أُولَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ

they
فِيهَا

in it
خَالِدُونَ
khaliduna
will abide forever
Transliteration
Lan tughniya 'anhum amwaaluhum wa laaa awladuhum minal laahi shai'aa; ulaaa 'ika As haabun Naari hum feehaa khaalidoon
Translation
Never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
Their wealth and their offspring will not benefit them in the slightest. They are the people of the hellfire who will enter it and reside in it for ever, the punishment never stopping on them.
