Surah Al-Mu'minun 23:32 — translation and meaning
المؤمنون · Verse 32 / 118 · Page 344
ۖ فَأَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِّنْهُمْ أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَهٍ غَيْرُهُ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
Word by Word
Transliteration
Fa arsalnaa feehim Rasoolam minhum ani'budul laaha maa lakum min ilaahin ghairuhoo afalaa tattaqoon
Translation
And We sent among them a messenger from themselves, [saying], "Worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?"
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
I sent to them a messenger from amongst them: Hud, who would call them towards Allah. He said to them, “O my people! Worship Allah only; you do not have any true deity except Him, may He be glorified. Will you not be mindful of Allah by fulfilling His commands and refraining from His prohibitions?”
