ۖ قَالَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا يَاأَبَتِ اسْتَأْجِرْهُ إِنَّ خَيْرَ مَنِ اسْتَأْجَرْتَ الْقَوِيُّ الْأَمِينُ

Transliteration

Qaalat ihdaahumaa yaaa abatis taajirhu inna khaira manistaajartal qawiyyul ameen

Translation

One of the women said, "O my father, hire him. Indeed, the best one you can hire is the strong and the trustworthy."

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

One of his two daughters said, “O my father! Hire him to shepherd our livestock for us, because he is worthy of being hired by you. He possesses strength and is trustworthy; through his strength he will be able to fulfil his responsibility, and with his trustworthiness he will safeguard whatever he is entrusted with.”
