Ali 'Imran 3:159
آل عمران · Verse 159 / 200 · Page 71
ۖ ۚ ۖ ۖ فَبِمَا رَحْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ لِنتَ لَهُمْ وَلَوْ كُنتَ فَظًّا غَلِيظَ الْقَلْبِ لَانفَضُّوا مِنْ حَوْلِكَ فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَشَاوِرْهُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ فَإِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ

فَبِمَا
fabima
So because
رَحْمَةٍ
rahmatin
(of) Mercy
مِّنَ
mina
from
اللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
لِنتَ
linta
you dealt gently
لَهُمْ
lahum
with them
وَلَوْ
walaw
And if
كُنتَ
kunta
you had been
فَظًّا
fazzan
rude
غَلِيظَ
ghaliza
(and) harsh
الْقَلْبِ
al-qalbi
(at) [the] heart
لَانفَضُّوا
la-infaddu
surely they (would have) dispersed
مِنْ
min
from
حَوْلِكَ
hawlika
around you
فَاعْفُ
fa-u'fu
Then pardon
عَنْهُمْ
anhum
[from] them
وَاسْتَغْفِرْ
wa-is'taghfir
and ask forgiveness
لَهُمْ
lahum
for them
وَشَاوِرْهُمْ
washawir'hum
and consult them
فِي
fi
in
الْأَمْرِ
al-amri
the matter
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
Then when
عَزَمْتَ
azamta
you have decided
فَتَوَكَّلْ
fatawakkal
then put trust
عَلَى
ala
on
اللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
اللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يُحِبُّ
yuhibbu
loves
الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ
al-mutawakilina
the ones who put trust (in Him)
