Surah An-Nisa 4:27 — translation and meaning

وَاللَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ الَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ الشَّهَوَاتِ أَن تَمِيلُوا مَيْلًا عَظِيمًا

Transliteration
Wallaahu yureedu ai yatooba 'alaikum wa yureedul lazeena yattabi 'oonash shahawaati an tameeloo mailan 'azeemaa
Translation
Allah wants to accept your repentance, but those who follow [their] passions want you to digress [into] a great deviation.
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
Allah wants to turn to you and forgive you your disobedience, while those who follow their low desires want you to turn far away from the correct way of life.
