Surah An-Nur 24:6 — translation and meaning

ۙ وَالَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ أَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُمْ شُهَدَاءُ إِلَّا أَنفُسُهُمْ فَشَهَادَةُ أَحَدِهِمْ أَرْبَعُ شَهَادَاتٍ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ

by Allah
إِنَّهُ

الصَّادِقِينَ
al-sadiqina
the truthful

Transliteration

Wallazeena yarmoona azwaajahum wa lam yakul lahum shuhadaaa'u illaaa anfusuhum fashahaadatu ahadihim arb'u shahaadaatim billaahi innahoo laminas saadiqeen

Translation

And those who accuse their wives [of adultery] and have no witnesses except themselves - then the witness of one of them [shall be] four testimonies [swearing] by Allah that indeed, he is of the truthful.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

And those men who accuse their wives but do not have witnesses to testify to the authenticity of what they have accused them of besides themselves, one amongst them will testify by Allah four times: that he is truthful in the accusation of adultery he has made against his wife.
