Surah Ar-Rum 30:23 — translation and meaning

ۚ وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ مَنَامُكُم بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَابْتِغَاؤُكُم مِّن فَضْلِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ
Word by Word
Transliteration
Wa min Aayaatihee manaamukum bil laili wannahaari wabtighaaa'ukum min fadlih; inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil liqawminy yasma'oon
Translation
And of His signs is your sleep by night and day and your seeking of His bounty. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen.
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
From among His great signs which prove His power and oneness, is your sleeping by night and wakefulness by day, so that you may rest from the tiredness of your work. And from among His signs is that He made the day so that you may disperse, seeking sustenance from your Lord. Indeed, in the aforementioned are proofs and evidences for people who listen attentively while contemplating and accepting.
