Surah Ar-Rum 30:25 — translation and meaning

ۚ وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَن تَقُومَ السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَرْضُ بِأَمْرِهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ دَعْوَةً مِّنَ الْأَرْضِ إِذَا أَنتُمْ تَخْرُجُونَ

His Signs
أَن

السَّمَاءُ

the heavens
وَالْأَرْضُ
wal-ardu
and the earth
بِأَمْرِهِ
bi-amrihi
by His Command
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
إِذَا
idha
when
دَعَاكُمْ
da'akum
He calls you
دَعْوَةً
da'watan
(with) a call
مِّنَ
mina
from
الْأَرْضِ
al-ardi
the earth
إِذَا
idha
behold!
أَنتُمْ
antum
You
تَخْرُجُونَ
takhrujuna
will come forth

Transliteration

Wa min Aayaatihee an taqoomas samaaa'u wal ardu bi-amrih; summa izaa da'aakum da'watam minal ardi izaaa antum takhrujoon

Translation

And of His signs is that the heaven and earth remain by His command. Then when He calls you with a [single] call from the earth, immediately you will come forth.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

And from among the signs of Allah which prove His power and oneness, is the upstanding of the sky without it falling and the earth not falling apart due to His command. Then, when He will call you once from the earth by the angel blowing the trumpet, you will suddenly emerge from your graves to give account and be requited.
