Surah Ar-Rum 30:4 — translation and meaning

ۗ ۚ فِي بِضْعِ سِنِينَ لِلَّهِ الْأَمْرُ مِن قَبْلُ وَمِن بَعْدُ وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ

الْأَمْرُ

(is) the command

وَيَوْمَئِذٍ
wayawma-idhin
And that day
يَفْرَحُ
yafrahu
will rejoice
الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
al-mu'minuna
the believers
Transliteration
Fee bid'i sineen; lillaahil amru min qablu wa mim ba'd; wa yawma'iziny yafrahul mu'minoon
Translation
Within three to nine years. To Allah belongs the command before and after. And that day the believers will rejoice
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
Within a time period not before three years and not after ten. To Allah belongs the command, prior to the Roman’s victory and after it. And on the day the Romans defeat the Persians, the believers will be happy.
