وَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِإِسْحَاقَ نَبِيًّا مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

Transliteration

Wa bashsharnaahu bi Ishaaqa Nabiyayam minas saaliheen

Translation

And We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

And I gave him glad tidings of another son who would become a Prophet and a pious servant: he was Isaac. It was another reward for his obedience to Allah by resolving to slaughter his only son, Ishmael.
