لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِعُ السَّحَرَةَ إِن كَانُوا هُمُ الْغَالِبِينَ

Transliteration

La'allanaa nattabi'us saharata in kaanoo humul ghaalibeen

Translation

That we might follow the magicians if they are the predominant?"

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

If the magicians succeed over Moses, perhaps we should follow them in their religion.
