Surah Az-Zukhruf 43:44 — translation and meaning

ۖ وَإِنَّهُ لَذِكْرٌ لَّكَ وَلِقَوْمِكَ وَسَوْفَ تُسْأَلُونَ
Word by Word
ۖ
وَإِنَّهُ
wa-innahu
And indeed it
لَذِكْرٌ
ladhik'run
(is) surely a Reminder
لَّكَ
laka
for you
وَلِقَوْمِكَ
waliqawmika
and your people
وَسَوْفَ
wasawfa
and soon
تُسْأَلُونَ
tus'aluna
you will be questioned
Transliteration
Wa innahoo lazikrul laka wa liqawmika wa sawfa tus'aloon
Translation
And indeed, it is a remembrance for you and your people, and you [all] are going to be questioned.
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
And indeed, this Qur’ān is an honour for you and your nation. You shall soon be questioned on the Day of Judgement regarding bringing faith in it, following its guidance and calling towards it.
