قُلْ إِنِّي أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ مُخْلِصًا لَّهُ الدِّينَ

Transliteration

Qul inneee umirtu an a'budal laaha mukhlisal lahud deen

Translation

Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

Say, O Messenger: Allah has instructed me to worship Him alone, dedicating my worship to Him. He has instructed me with this and He also instructed those who follow me.
