Surah Fussilat 41:9 — translation and meaning

ۚ قُلْ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَكْفُرُونَ بِالَّذِي خَلَقَ الْأَرْضَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ وَتَجْعَلُونَ لَهُ أَندَادًا ذَلِكَ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Word by Word
Transliteration
Qul a'innakum latakfuroona billazee khalaqal arda fee yawmaini wa taj'aloona lahooo andaadaa; zaalika Rabbul 'aalameen
Translation
Say, "Do you indeed disbelieve in He who created the earth in two days and attribute to Him equals? That is the Lord of the worlds."
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
O Messenger! Say to these idolaters, rebuking them: “Why do you disbelieve in Allah who created the earth in two days: on Sunday and Monday, and you attribute equals to Him whom you worship instead of Him? He is the Lord of all creation.”
