ۖ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِ فَاتَّبَعُوا أَمْرَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَا أَمْرُ فِرْعَوْنَ بِرَشِيدٍ

Transliteration

Ilaa Fir'awna wa mala'ihee fattaba'ooo amra Fir'awna wa maaa amru Fir'awna birasheed

Translation

To Pharaoh and his establishment, but they followed the command of Pharaoh, and the command of Pharaoh was not [at all] discerning.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

I sent Moses to Pharaoh and the nobles from his people. These nobles followed Pharaoh’s command to them to disbelieve in Allah. The command of Pharaoh was not one that was right to be followed.
