Surah Ya-Sin 36:43 — translation and meaning

وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ

Transliteration

Wa in nashaa nughriqhum falaa sareekha lahum wa laa hum yunqazoon

Translation

And if We should will, We could drown them; then no one responding to a cry would there be for them, nor would they be saved

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

If I wished to drown them I would have done so. There would be no one to help them if I wished to drown them and there would be no one to rescue them if they drowned by My command and decree.
