أَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍ مَّكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّن لَّكُمْ وَأَرْسَلْنَا السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْهِم مِّدْرَارًا وَجَعَلْنَا الْأَنْهَارَ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَنشَأْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا آخَرِينَ

وَأَرْسَلْنَا
wa-arsalna
And We sent
السَّمَاءَ
al-samaa
(rain from) the sky
عَلَيْهِم
alayhim
upon them
مِّدْرَارًا
mid'raran
showering abundantly
وَجَعَلْنَا
waja'alna
and We made
الْأَنْهَارَ
al-anhara
the rivers
تَجْرِي
tajri
flow
مِن
min
from
تَحْتِهِمْ
tahtihim
underneath them
فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُم
fa-ahlaknahum
Then We destroyed them
بِذُنُوبِهِمْ
bidhunubihim
for their sins
وَأَنشَأْنَا
wa-anshana
and We raised
مِن
min
from
بَعْدِهِمْ
ba'dihim
after them
قَرْنًا
qarnan
generations
آخَرِينَ
akharina
