Al-Baqara (La Vache) 2:30

ۖ ۖ وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً قَالُوا أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ الدِّمَاءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ قَالَ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Mot a mot
ۖ
ۖ
وَإِذْ
wa-idh
And when
قَالَ
qala
said
رَبُّكَ
rabbuka
your Lord
لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ
lil'malaikati
to the angels
إِنِّي
inni
Indeed, I (am)
جَاعِلٌ
ja'ilun
going to place
فِي
fi
in
الْأَرْضِ
al-ardi
the earth
خَلِيفَةً
khalifatan
a vicegerent
قَالُوا
qalu
they said
أَتَجْعَلُ
ataj'alu
Will You place
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
مَن
man
(one) who
يُفْسِدُ
yuf'sidu
will spread corruption
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
وَيَسْفِكُ
wayasfiku
and will shed
الدِّمَاءَ
al-dimaa
[the] blood[s]
وَنَحْنُ
wanahnu
while we
نُسَبِّحُ
nusabbihu
[we] glorify (You)
بِحَمْدِكَ
bihamdika
with Your praises
وَنُقَدِّسُ
wanuqaddisu
and we sanctify
لَكَ
laka
[to] You
قَالَ
qala
He said
إِنِّي
inni
Indeed, I
أَعْلَمُ
a'lamu
[I] know
مَا
ma
what
لَا
la
(do) not
تَعْلَمُونَ
ta'lamuna
you know
