Sourate Al-Baqara (La Vache) 2:86 — traduction et sens du verset

ۖ أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُا الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالْآخِرَةِ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ

الْحَيَاةَ

الدُّنْيَا

فَلَا

يُخَفَّفُ
yukhaffafu
will be lightened
عَنْهُمُ
anhumu
for them
الْعَذَابُ
al-'adhabu
the punishment
وَلَا
wala
and not
هُمْ
hum
they
يُنصَرُونَ
yunsaruna
will be helped

Translittération

Ulaaa'ikal lazeenash tarawul hayaatad dunyaa bil aakhirati falaa yukhaffafu 'anhumul 'azaabu wa laa hum yunsaroon

Traduction

Voilà ceux qui échangent la vie présente contre la vie future. Eh bien, leur châtiment ne sera pas diminué. Et ils ne seront point secourus.

Interprétation du verset (Tafsir)

Ceux-ci ont privilégié la vie ici-bas au détriment de l’au-delà, préférant ce qui est éphémère à ce qui est éternel. Leur châtiment ne leur sera pas allégé dans l’au-delà et ils ne bénéficieront d’aucun secours.
