ۚ إِذْ جَعَلَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الْحَمِيَّةَ حَمِيَّةَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَأَنزَلَ اللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ وَعَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَلْزَمَهُمْ كَلِمَةَ التَّقْوَى وَكَانُوا أَحَقَّ بِهَا وَأَهْلَهَا وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا

(the) disdain
الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ
al-jahiliyati
(of) the time of ignorance
فَأَنزَلَ
fa-anzala
Then Allah sent down
اللَّهُ
al-lahu
Then Allah sent down
سَكِينَتَهُ
sakinatahu
His tranquility
عَلَى
ala
upon
رَسُولِهِ
rasulihi
His Messenger
وَعَلَى
wa'ala
and upon
الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believers
وَأَلْزَمَهُمْ
wa-alzamahum
and made them adhere
كَلِمَةَ
kalimata
(to the) word
التَّقْوَى
al-taqwa
(of) righteousness
وَكَانُوا
wakanu
and they were
أَحَقَّ
ahaqqa
more deserving
بِهَا
biha
of it
وَأَهْلَهَا
wa-ahlaha
and worthy of it
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
اللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
of every
شَيْءٍ
shayin
thing
عَلِيمًا
aliman
