ۖ أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ

اللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَمَا
wama
and what
نَزَلَ
nazala
has come down
مِنَ
mina
of
الْحَقِّ
al-haqi
the truth
وَلَا
wala
And not
يَكُونُوا
yakunu
they become
كَالَّذِينَ
ka-alladhina
like those who
أُوتُوا
utu
were given
الْكِتَابَ
al-kitaba
the Book
مِن
min
before
قَبْلُ
qablu
before
فَطَالَ
fatala
(and) was prolonged
عَلَيْهِمُ
alayhimu
for them
الْأَمَدُ
al-amadu
the term
فَقَسَتْ
faqasat
so hardened
قُلُوبُهُمْ
qulubuhum
their hearts
وَكَثِيرٌ
wakathirun
and many
مِّنْهُمْ
min'hum
of them
فَاسِقُونَ
fasiquna
(are) defiantly disobedient
