ۖ وَإِن كَادُوا لَيَفْتِنُونَكَ عَنِ الَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ لِتَفْتَرِيَ عَلَيْنَا غَيْرَهُ وَإِذًا لَّاتَّخَذُوكَ خَلِيلًا
Mot a mot
ۖ
وَإِن
wa-in
And indeed
كَادُوا
kadu
they were about (to)
لَيَفْتِنُونَكَ
layaftinunaka
tempt you away
عَنِ
ani
from
الَّذِي
alladhi
that which
أَوْحَيْنَا
awhayna
We revealed
إِلَيْكَ
ilayka
to you
لِتَفْتَرِيَ
litaftariya
that you invent
عَلَيْنَا
alayna
about Us
غَيْرَهُ
ghayrahu
other (than) it
وَإِذًا
wa-idhan
And then
لَّاتَّخَذُوكَ
la-ittakhadhuka
surely they would take you
خَلِيلًا
khalilan
(as) a friend
