ۚ وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا إِلَى مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ قَالُوا حَسْبُنَا مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا أَوَلَوْ كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَهْتَدُونَ
Mot a mot
ۚ
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
قِيلَ
qila
it is said
لَهُمْ
lahum
to them
تَعَالَوْا
ta'alaw
Come
إِلَى
ila
to
مَا
ma
what
أَنزَلَ
anzala
has (been) revealed
اللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
وَإِلَى
wa-ila
and to
الرَّسُولِ
al-rasuli
the Messenger
قَالُوا
qalu
they said
حَسْبُنَا
hasbuna
Sufficient for us
مَا
ma
(is) what
وَجَدْنَا
wajadna
we found
عَلَيْهِ
alayhi
upon it
آبَاءَنَا
abaana
our forefathers
أَوَلَوْ
awalaw
Even though
كَانَ
kana
(that)
آبَاؤُهُمْ
abauhum
their forefathers
لَا
la
not
يَعْلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
knowing
شَيْئًا
shayan
anything
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَهْتَدُونَ
yahtaduna
they (were) guided
