ۚ لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِيهِمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ
Mot a mot
ۚ
لَقَدْ
laqad
Certainly
كَانَ
kana
(there) is
لَكُمْ
lakum
for you
فِيهِمْ
fihim
in them
أُسْوَةٌ
us'watun
an example
حَسَنَةٌ
hasanatun
good
لِّمَن
liman
for (he) who
كَانَ
kana
is
يَرْجُو
yarju
hopeful
اللَّهَ
al-laha
(in) Allah
وَالْيَوْمَ
wal-yawma
and the Day
الْآخِرَ
al-akhira
the Last
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَتَوَلَّ
yatawalla
turns away
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
اللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
هُوَ
huwa
He
الْغَنِيُّ
al-ghaniyu
(is) Free of need
الْحَمِيدُ
al-hamidu
the Praiseworthy
