وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا اللَّغْوَ أَعْرَضُوا عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا لَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ لَا نَبْتَغِي الْجَاهِلِينَ
Mot a mot
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
سَمِعُوا
sami'u
they hear
اللَّغْوَ
al-laghwa
vain talk
أَعْرَضُوا
a'radu
they turn away
عَنْهُ
anhu
from it
وَقَالُوا
waqalu
and say
لَنَا
lana
For us
أَعْمَالُنَا
a'maluna
our deeds
وَلَكُمْ
walakum
and for you
أَعْمَالُكُمْ
a'malukum
your deeds
سَلَامٌ
salamun
Peace (be)
عَلَيْكُمْ
alaykum
on you
لَا
la
not
نَبْتَغِي
nabtaghi
we seek
الْجَاهِلِينَ
al-jahilina
the ignorant
