ۖ ۖ وَأَصْبَحَ الَّذِينَ تَمَنَّوْا مَكَانَهُ بِالْأَمْسِ يَقُولُونَ وَيْكَأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَقْدِرُ لَوْلَا أَن مَّنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا لَخَسَفَ بِنَا وَيْكَأَنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الْكَافِرُونَ
Mot a mot
ۖ
ۖ
وَأَصْبَحَ
wa-asbaha
And began
الَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
تَمَنَّوْا
tamannaw
(had) wished
مَكَانَهُ
makanahu
his position
بِالْأَمْسِ
bil-amsi
the day before
يَقُولُونَ
yaquluna
(to) say
وَيْكَأَنَّ
wayka-anna
Ah! That
اللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يَبْسُطُ
yabsutu
extends
الرِّزْقَ
al-riz'qa
the provision
لِمَن
liman
for whom
يَشَاءُ
yashau
He wills
مِنْ
min
of
عِبَادِهِ
ibadihi
His slaves
وَيَقْدِرُ
wayaqdiru
and restricts it
لَوْلَا
lawla
If not
أَن
an
that
مَّنَّ
manna
Allah had favored
اللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah had favored
عَلَيْنَا
alayna
[to] us
لَخَسَفَ
lakhasafa
He would have caused it to swallow us
بِنَا
bina
He would have caused it to swallow us
وَيْكَأَنَّهُ
wayka-annahu
Ah! That
لَا
la
not
يُفْلِحُ
yuf'lihu
will succeed
الْكَافِرُونَ
al-kafiruna
the disbelievers
