وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَهُمُ الطُّورَ بِمِيثَاقِهِمْ وَقُلْنَا لَهُمُ ادْخُلُوا الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا وَقُلْنَا لَهُمْ لَا تَعْدُوا فِي السَّبْتِ وَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُم مِّيثَاقًا غَلِيظًا
Mot a mot
وَرَفَعْنَا

And We raised
فَوْقَهُمُ
fawqahumu
over them
الطُّورَ
al-tura
the mount
بِمِيثَاقِهِمْ
bimithaqihim
for their covenant
وَقُلْنَا
waqul'na
and We said
لَهُمُ

ادْخُلُوا
ud'khulu

سُجَّدًا
sujjadan
prostrating
وَقُلْنَا
waqul'na
And We said
لَهُمْ
lahum
to them
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَعْدُوا
ta'du
transgress
فِي
fi
in
السَّبْتِ
al-sabti
the Sabbath
وَأَخَذْنَا
wa-akhadhna
And We took
مِنْهُم
min'hum
from them
مِّيثَاقًا
mithaqan
a covenant
غَلِيظًا
ghalizan
solemn
