ۚ ۖ ۚ ۖ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ ظَالِمِي أَنفُسِهِمْ قَالُوا فِيمَ كُنتُمْ قَالُوا كُنَّا مُسْتَضْعَفِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ قَالُوا أَلَمْ تَكُنْ أَرْضُ اللَّهِ وَاسِعَةً فَتُهَاجِرُوا فِيهَا فَأُولَئِكَ مَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَسَاءَتْ مَصِيرًا

الَّذِينَ

take them (in death)
الْمَلَائِكَةُ
al-malaikatu
the Angels
ظَالِمِي
zalimi
(while) they (were) wronging
أَنفُسِهِمْ
anfusihim
themselves
قَالُوا
qalu
they say
فِيمَ
fima
In what (condition)
كُنتُمْ
kuntum
were you
قَالُوا
qalu
They said
كُنَّا
kunna
We were
مُسْتَضْعَفِينَ
mus'tad'afina
oppressed
فِي
fi
in
الْأَرْضِ
al-ardi
the earth
قَالُوا
qalu
They said
أَلَمْ
alam
Not
تَكُنْ
takun
was
أَرْضُ
ardu
(the) earth
اللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَاسِعَةً
wasi'atan
spacious (enough)
فَتُهَاجِرُوا
fatuhajiru
so that you (could) emigrate
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
فَأُولَئِكَ
fa-ulaika
Then those
مَأْوَاهُمْ
mawahum
(will have) their abode
جَهَنَّمُ
jahannamu
(in) Hell
وَسَاءَتْ
wasaat
and it is an evil
مَصِيرًا
masiran
