وَامْرَأَتُهُ قَائِمَةٌ فَضَحِكَتْ فَبَشَّرْنَاهَا بِإِسْحَاقَ وَمِن وَرَاءِ إِسْحَاقَ يَعْقُوبَ
Mot à mot
وَامْرَأَتُهُ
wa-im'ra-atuhu
And his wife
قَائِمَةٌ
qaimatun
(was) standing
فَضَحِكَتْ
fadahikat
and she laughed
فَبَشَّرْنَاهَا
fabasharnaha
Then We gave her glad tidings
بِإِسْحَاقَ
bi-is'haqa
of Ishaq
وَمِن
wamin
and after
وَرَاءِ
warai
and after
إِسْحَاقَ
is'haqa
Isaac
يَعْقُوبَ
ya'quba
(of) Yaqub
Translittération
Wamra atuhoo qaaa'imatun fadahikat fabashsharnaahaa bi Ishaaqa wa minw waraaa'i Ishaaqa Ya'qoob
Traduction
Sa femme était debout, et elle rit alors; Nous lui annonçâmes donc (la naissance d') Isaac, et après Isaac, Jacob.
Interprétation du verset (Tafsir)
Sarah, l’épouse d’Abraham, était debout non loin à les écouter et les anges lui annoncèrent une nouvelle qui la réjouit: elle mettra au monde Isaac et Isaac aura à son tour un fils appelé Jacob. Cette nouvelle la combla et la fit rire.
