ۖ ۖ ۖ فَلَمَّا اسْتَيْأَسُوا مِنْهُ خَلَصُوا نَجِيًّا قَالَ كَبِيرُهُمْ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ أَبَاكُمْ قَدْ أَخَذَ عَلَيْكُم مَّوْثِقًا مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَمِن قَبْلُ مَا فَرَّطتُمْ فِي يُوسُفَ فَلَنْ أَبْرَحَ الْأَرْضَ حَتَّى يَأْذَنَ لِي أَبِي أَوْ يَحْكُمَ اللَّهُ لِي وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ

فَلَمَّا

أَخَذَ

عَلَيْكُم
alaykum
upon you
مَّوْثِقًا
mawthiqan
a promise
مِّنَ
mina
by
اللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَمِن
wamin
and before
قَبْلُ
qablu
and before
مَا
ma
that
فَرَّطتُمْ
farrattum
you failed
فِي
fi
concerning
يُوسُفَ
yusufa
Yusuf
فَلَنْ
falan
So never
أَبْرَحَ
abraha
will I leave
الْأَرْضَ
al-arda
the land
حَتَّى
hatta
until
يَأْذَنَ
yadhana
permits
لِي
li
me
أَبِي
abi
my father
أَوْ
aw
or
يَحْكُمَ
yahkuma
Allah decides
اللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah decides
لِي
li
for me
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and He
خَيْرُ
khayru
(is) the Best
الْحَاكِمِينَ
al-hakimina
(of) the judges
