Surah Al-Furqan 25:47 — translation and meaning

وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا وَالنَّوْمَ سُبَاتًا وَجَعَلَ النَّهَارَ نُشُورًا

a resurrection

Transliteration

Wa Huwal lazee ja'ala lakumul laila libaasanw wannawma subaatanw wa ja'alan nahaara nushooraa

Translation

And it is He who has made the night for you as clothing and sleep [a means for] rest and has made the day a resurrection.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

It is Allah who has made the night like a garment to cover you and cover all things. It is He who made sleep a rest that you could enjoy from your occupation. It is He who made the day a time when you go out to your work.
