ۚ اللَّهُ يَصْطَفِي مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا وَمِنَ النَّاسِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ بَصِيرٌ

Transliteration

Allahu yastafee minal malaaa'ikati Rusulanw wa minan naas; innal laaha Samee'um Baseer

Translation

Allah chooses from the angels messengers and from the people. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

Allah, may He be glorified, selects messengers from the Angels and the people also. He sends some of the Angels to the prophets, like Gabriel, who He sent to the human messengers; and He also sends human messengers to common people. Indeed, Allah hears what the idolaters say regarding His messengers and is insightful of who He selects to convey His message.
