Surah Al-Hujurat 49:10 — translation and meaning

ۚ إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ

لَعَلَّكُمْ

receive mercy
Transliteration
Innamal mu'minoona ikhwatun fa aslihoo baina akhawaykum wattaqul laaha la'allakum tuhamoon
Translation
The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy.
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
The believers are brothers in Islam, and brotherhood in Islam demands that you, O believers, reconcile between your quarrelling brothers. And be mindful of Allah by fulfilling His commands and refrain from that which He has prohibited; in the hope that you will be shown mercy.
