ۖ ۚ وَإِذَا مَسَّكُمُ الضُّرُّ فِي الْبَحْرِ ضَلَّ مَن تَدْعُونَ إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ فَلَمَّا نَجَّاكُمْ إِلَى الْبَرِّ أَعْرَضْتُمْ وَكَانَ الْإِنسَانُ كَفُورًا

وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
مَسَّكُمُ
massakumu
touches you
الضُّرُّ
al-duru
the hardship
فِي
fi
in
الْبَحْرِ
al-bahri
the sea
ضَلَّ
dalla
lost
مَن
man
(are) who
تَدْعُونَ
tad'una
you call
إِلَّا
illa
except
إِيَّاهُ
iyyahu
Him Alone
فَلَمَّا
falamma
But when
نَجَّاكُمْ
najjakum
He delivers you
إِلَى
ila
to
الْبَرِّ
al-bari
the land
أَعْرَضْتُمْ
a'radtum
you turn away
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
الْإِنسَانُ
al-insanu
man
كَفُورًا
kafuran
ungrateful
