وَاضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًا رَّجُلَيْنِ جَعَلْنَا لِأَحَدِهِمَا جَنَّتَيْنِ مِنْ أَعْنَابٍ وَحَفَفْنَاهُمَا بِنَخْلٍ وَجَعَلْنَا بَيْنَهُمَا زَرْعًا

And set forth
لَهُم

مَّثَلًا

رَّجُلَيْنِ
rajulayni
of two men:
جَعَلْنَا
ja'alna
We provided
لِأَحَدِهِمَا
li-ahadihima
for one of them
جَنَّتَيْنِ
jannatayni
two gardens
مِنْ

of
أَعْنَابٍ
a'nabin
grapes
وَحَفَفْنَاهُمَا
wahafafnahuma
and We bordered them
بِنَخْلٍ
binakhlin
with date-palms
وَجَعَلْنَا
waja'alna
and We placed
بَيْنَهُمَا
baynahuma
between both of them
زَرْعًا
zar'an
crops
