Surah Al-Mu'minun 23:109 — translation and meaning

إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِي يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

Transliteration

Innahoo kaana fareequm min 'ibaadee yaqooloona Rabbanaaa aamannaa faghfir lanaa warhamnaa wa Anta khairur raahimeen

Translation

Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.'

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

There was a group of My servants who believed in Me, saying: ‘Our Lord, we have believed in You, so forgive our sins and grant us Your mercy, and You are the best of those who show mercy’
