Surah Al-Mu'minun 23:60 — translation and meaning

وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْتُونَ مَا آتَوا وَّقُلُوبُهُمْ وَجِلَةٌ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَى رَبِّهِمْ رَاجِعُونَ

رَاجِعُونَ
raji'una
(will) return

Transliteration

Wallazeena yu'toona maaa aataw wa quloobuhum wajilatun annahum ilaa Rabbihim raaji'oon

Translation

And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord -

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

Those who strive in doing righteous deeds and draw closer to Allah through them, whilst fearing that He may not accept their spending in His path, or good deeds when they return to Him on the Day of Judgment.
