Surah Al-Mu'minun 23:63 — translation and meaning

بَلْ قُلُوبُهُمْ فِي غَمْرَةٍ مِّنْ هَذَا وَلَهُمْ أَعْمَالٌ مِّن دُونِ ذَلِكَ هُمْ لَهَا عَامِلُونَ

Transliteration

Bal quloobuhum fee ghamratim min haazaa wa lahum a'maalum min dooni zaalika hum lahaa 'aamiloon

Translation

But their hearts are covered with confusion over this, and they have [evil] deeds besides disbelief which they are doing,

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

Rather, the hearts of the disbelievers are neglectful of this book that contains the truth, and of the book that was revealed to them. They also commit evil actions other than the disbelief that they are insistent on.
