وَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِّنْ أَقْصَى الْمَدِينَةِ يَسْعَى قَالَ يَامُوسَى إِنَّ الْمَلَأَ يَأْتَمِرُونَ بِكَ لِيَقْتُلُوكَ فَاخْرُجْ إِنِّي لَكَ مِنَ النَّاصِحِينَ
Wa jaaa'a rajulum min aqsal madeenati yas'aa qaala yaa Moosaaa innal mala a yaa tamiroona bika liyaqtulooka fakhruj innee laka minan naasiheen
And a man came from the farthest end of the city, running. He said, "O Moses, indeed the eminent ones are conferring over you [intending] to kill you, so leave [the city]; indeed, I am to you of the sincere advisors."
A man came rushing from the far end of the city, fearing persecution against Moses. He said, “O Moses! Indeed, the leaders of the people of Pharaoh are holding counsel regarding your killing, so leave the city. I am one of those who wish well for you and I fear that they may seize and kill you.”
