Surah Al-Qasas 28:37 — translation and meaning
القصص · Verse 37 / 88 · Page 390
ۖ وَقَالَ مُوسَى رَبِّي أَعْلَمُ بِمَن جَاءَ بِالْهُدَى مِنْ عِندِهِ وَمَن تَكُونُ لَهُ عَاقِبَةُ الدَّارِ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ
Word by Word
Transliteration
Wa qaala Moosaa Rabbeee a'alamu biman jaaa'a bilhudaa min 'indihee wa man takoonu lahoo 'aaqibatud daari innahoo laa yuflihuz zaalimoon
Translation
And Moses said, "My Lord is more knowing [than we or you] of who has come with guidance from Him and to whom will be succession in the home. Indeed, wrongdoers do not succeed."
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
And Moses, addressing Pharaoh, said, “My Lord knows of the truthful one who has brought the guidance from Him, may He be glorified; He also knows who will face a praiseworthy outcome in the afterlife. The oppressors will never succeed in achieving their motives and acquiring safety from their fears.”
