يَا مَرْيَمُ اقْنُتِي لِرَبِّكِ وَاسْجُدِي وَارْكَعِي مَعَ الرَّاكِعِينَ

يَا مَرْيَمُ
yamaryamu
O Maryam!
اقْنُتِي
uq'nuti
Be obedient
لِرَبِّكِ
lirabbiki
to your Lord
وَاسْجُدِي
wa-us'judi
and prostrate
وَارْكَعِي
wa-ir'ka'i
and bow down
مَعَ
ma'a
with
الرَّاكِعِينَ
al-raki'ina
those who bow down
Transliteration
Yaa Maryamuq nutee li Rabbiki wasjudee warka'ee ma'ar raaki'een
Translation
O Mary, be devoutly obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow with those who bow [in prayer]."
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
O Mary, stand for long periods in prayer, prostrate to your Lord and bow down with His righteous servants who bow down to Him.
