Surah As-Sajda 32:23 — translation and meaning

السجدة · Verse 23 / 30 · Page 417

ۖ وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ فَلَا تَكُن فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِّن لِّقَائِهِ وَجَعَلْنَاهُ هُدًى لِّبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ

Transliteration

Wa laqad aayainaa Moosal Kitaaba falaa takun fee miryatim mil liqaaa'ihee wa ja'alnaahu hudal li Baneee Israaa'eel

Translation

And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture, so do not be in doubt over his meeting. And we made the Torah guidance for the Children of Israel.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

Verily, I gave Moses the Torah, so - O Messenger - do not be in doubt over you having met Moses in the Night Journey and the Ascension. I made the book revealed to Moses a guide for the Israelites from deviance.
