Surah At-Tur 52:48 — translation and meaning

ۖ وَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ
Word by Word
ۖ
وَاصْبِرْ
wa-is'bir
So be patient
لِحُكْمِ
lihuk'mi
for (the) Command
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
(of) your Lord
فَإِنَّكَ
fa-innaka
for indeed you
بِأَعْيُنِنَا
bi-a'yunina
(are) in Our Eyes
وَسَبِّحْ
wasabbih
And glorify
بِحَمْدِ
bihamdi
(the) praise
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
(of) your Lord
حِينَ
hina
when
تَقُومُ
taqumu
you arise
Transliteration
Wasbir lihukmi rabbika fa innaka bi-a'yuninaa wa sabbih bihamdi rabbika heena taqoom
Translation
And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise.
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
Be patient, O Messenger, on the decree of your Lord and His divine law, as you are in My sight and protection. And glorify and praise your Lord when you stand from your sleep.
