أَفَأَنتَ تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ أَوْ تَهْدِي الْعُمْيَ وَمَن كَانَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ

Transliteration

Afa anta tusmi'us summa aw tahdil 'umya wa man kaana fee dalaalim mubeen

Translation

Then will you make the deaf hear, [O Muhammad], or guide the blind or he who is in clear error?

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

Indeed, these people are deaf from hearing the truth and blind from seeing. O Messenger! Are you then capable of making the deaf hear, guiding the blind, or guiding the one clearly astray from the straight path?
