قُلْ إِن كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَنِ وَلَدٌ فَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْعَابِدِينَ

Transliteration

Qul in kaana lir Rahmaani walad; fa-ana awwalul 'aabideen

Translation

Say, [O Muhammad], "If the Most Merciful had a son, then I would be the first of [his] worshippers."

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

O Messenger! Say to those who attribute daughters to Allah, who is exalted greatly from their statement: “If, hypothetically, Allah had a child, then I would be the first to worship that child.”
