يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي قَدْ جَاءَنِي مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَمْ يَأْتِكَ فَاتَّبِعْنِي أَهْدِكَ صِرَاطًا سَوِيًّا

Transliteration

Yaaa abati innee qad jaaa'anee minal 'ilmi maa lam yaatika fattabi'neee ahdika siraatan Sawiyyaa

Translation

O my father, indeed there has come to me of knowledge that which has not come to you, so follow me; I will guide you to an even path.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

O father, such knowledge has come to me through revelation which has not come to you, so follow me and I shall guide you to the straight path.
