Surah Ta-Ha 20:81 — translation and meaning

ۖ كُلُوا مِن طَيِّبَاتِ مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ وَلَا تَطْغَوْا فِيهِ فَيَحِلَّ عَلَيْكُمْ غَضَبِي وَمَن يَحْلِلْ عَلَيْهِ غَضَبِي فَقَدْ هَوَى
Word by Word
Transliteration
Kuloo min taiyibaati maa razaqnaakum wa laa tatghaw feehi fa yahilla 'alaikum ghadabee wa mai yahlil 'alaihi ghadabee faqad hawaa
Translation
[Saying], "Eat from the good things with which We have provided you and do not transgress [or oppress others] therein, lest My anger should descend upon you. And he upon whom My anger descends has certainly fallen."
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
Eat the wholesome lawful foods I have provided you and do not go beyond what I have made lawful to you, so you consume what I have made forbidden for you, otherwise My anger will fall on you. Whoever My anger falls upon will be destroyed and fall into Hell.
