On the 8th of Dhul Hijjah, known as Yawm al-Tarwiyah, pilgrims proceed to the tent city of Mina. They spend the day and night in Mina, performing the five daily prayers (Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha, and Fajr) shortened but not combined. This day is dedicated to spiritual preparation, reciting the Talbiyah, making dua, and reflecting on the journey ahead. It is a time of calm before the pivotal day at Arafat.
