إِذْ جَاءُوكُم مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ وَمِنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنكُمْ وَإِذْ زَاغَتِ الْأَبْصَارُ وَبَلَغَتِ الْقُلُوبُ الْحَنَاجِرَ وَتَظُنُّونَ بِاللَّهِ الظُّنُونَا

they came upon you
مِّن

فَوْقِكُمْ

above you
وَمِنْ

أَسْفَلَ

زَاغَتِ
zaghati
grew wild
الْأَبْصَارُ
al-absaru
the eyes
وَبَلَغَتِ
wabalaghati
and reached
الْقُلُوبُ
al-qulubu
the hearts
الْحَنَاجِرَ
al-hanajira
the throats
وَتَظُنُّونَ
watazunnuna
and you assumed
بِاللَّهِ
bil-lahi
about Allah
الظُّنُونَا
al-zununa
