ۚ لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى جَبَلٍ لَّرَأَيْتَهُ خَاشِعًا مُّتَصَدِّعًا مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ وَتِلْكَ الْأَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

لَوْ

If
أَنزَلْنَا

We (had) sent down
هَذَا
hadha
this
الْقُرْآنَ
al-qur'ana
Quran
عَلَى
ala
on
جَبَلٍ
jabalin
a mountain
لَّرَأَيْتَهُ
lara-aytahu
surely you (would) have seen it
خَاشِعًا
khashi'an
humbled
مُّتَصَدِّعًا
mutasaddi'an
breaking asunder
مِّنْ
min
from
خَشْيَةِ
khashyati
(the) fear
اللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَتِلْكَ
watil'ka
And these
الْأَمْثَالُ
al-amthalu
(are) the examples
نَضْرِبُهَا
nadribuha
We present them
لِلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
to the people
لَعَلَّهُمْ
la'allahum
so that they may
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
yatafakkaruna
give thought
